PCCP has been designed with the overall purpose of promoting peace and cooperation over shared water resources. Case studies of successful cooperation were developed in addition to educational material. These publications were prepared under the UNESCO component of the joint UNESCO-GCI initiative PCCP: "Water for Peace". - 19 papers, reports and think pieces reviewing the legal, technical and diplomatic tools available for the anticipation and the resolution of water conflicts, as well as the lessons learned from historical experiences.
