New IHP Publications

As a fore-running base activity of the A/P FRIEND the Catalogue of Rivers for Southeast Asia and the Pacific has been published. The Catalogue gives an outline for each of the selected rivers and information on their: Geology, Climate, Hydrology, Water Resources and Socio-Cultural condition. Vol. 2 was published in 1997 with 24 rivers of 12 countries. This volume is available at the UNESCO Jakarta Office.
